No Dental Insurance? No Problem!

No Dental Insurance_

Dentistry can be expensive. Despite the cost, there are some cases where dental treatment is absolutely necessary. An unfortunate byproduct of the COVID-19 pandemic has caused many people to lose jobs and, consequently, their dental insurance. Without dental insurance, many patients are being forced to pay out of pocket for their dental care, which can restrict some people from seeking necessary dental care. At Kids Dental Specialists, we believe that every child should have a beautiful, healthy smile regardless of whether or not their parents have dental insurance.

With this belief, we offer patients with no dental insurance our In-House Membership Plan. This plan has an activation fee of $99 per child and then is divided into monthly payments based upon age. An infant membership for children ages 2 and under is $20 per month, a child membership for children 3-12 is $30 a month, and a teen membership for teens 13-18 is $35 per month. Signing up for our in-house membership plan is a great way to make sure your child gets the dental care they need for an affordable price. Here are some of the dental services that are provided with this plan:

Dental Cleanings

For this reason, the American Dental Association recommends having your child’s teeth professionally cleaned twice a year. Professional teeth cleanings are performed by dental hygiene professionals who will remove excess plaque and tartar buildup. This decreases bacterial populations in the mouth and lowers the risk of developing tooth decay and gum disease. With our in-house membership plan, your child is offered two preventative dental cleanings, as well as fluoride treatments to strengthen their enamel.

Dental Exams

Along with dental cleanings, dental exams are also important to monitor your child’s oral health. The American Dental Association also recommends scheduling two dental exams per year so your child’s pediatric dentist can evaluate their oral health. Frequent dental exams allow for the early detection of possible problems, which means restorative treatment is both less invasive and less expensive. With our in-house membership plan, your child is offered two dental exams, which are usually performed with the dental cleanings.

Dental X-Rays

During a dental exam, your child’s dentist may also need to take dental x-rays in order to evaluate the underlying bone structure. In most cases, dental x-rays are performed 1-2 times a year, as needed. The exception is with children under the age of two, who don’t usually need dental x-rays. Our in-house membership plan offers your child dental x-rays as needed for preventative and diagnostic purposes.

Dental Emergency Exam

Unfortunately, dental emergencies can happen at any time, often without warning. They can vary in severity and can include things such as a sudden and severe toothache, a chipped or cracked tooth, a loose tooth, a tooth that has been knocked out, or even the loss of a dental restoration. With our in-house membership plan, your child is offered one emergency exam per year, if this is needed.

Discount on Treatments

In the case that your child requires restorative dental treatments, we offer 20% off of all other treatments (some exclusions may apply). It is our hope that this will help make your child’s dental care more affordable and more manageable so that they can get the care they need without you needing to worry.
